Finding our room for the first time felt like navigating a maze because the property is huge. The front desk provides a map, which is essential. The bathroom features a bathtub with bath salts and a shower. The sink is double, perfect for couples. On the balcony, there are chairs, a hammock, and even a private hot tub, which is ideal for cold and foggy afternoons.

After relaxing, we walked along a 1.7 mile mountain trail to the restaurant. Along the way, you can see a cute camping area or even hail a golf cart to shuttle you.

Food was good, though not mind blowing. We tried steak, fish, lamb chops, and grilled octopus — my favorite was the grilled octopus, while lamb chops were cooked perfectly. Red wine options were average, but the desserts were excellent, especially the hotel recommended roasted pork.

After dinner, we rested on the balcony hammock and then visited the infinity pool. While technically an infinity pool, there is a glass barrier. Still, soaking in the hot pool with a drink while watching the forested mountains was incredibly romantic. Nearby, there’s also a steam room made of wood, filling the space with a cozy forest scent.
